A Pandle bookkeeper, in your account every working day.
You keep Pandle and your own subscription. We join as a user you add and keep your books up to date every UK working day: bank feed lines checked and categorised, receipts matched, sales invoices kept current and missing paperwork followed up.
Pandle is accounting software for small UK businesses. Bank feeds bring transactions in, and bank rules can sort the regular ones. Someone still needs to check every line, put it in the right category with the right VAT and find the paperwork behind it. That is the part a Pandle bookkeeper takes on.
BANK FEEDS AND BANK RULES
Every bank line checked. Not just accepted.
Each working day we open the banking area in Pandle for every connected account. We look at each new transaction, check what it is and give it the right category and VAT treatment. Where a payment belongs to a sales invoice, we link it so the invoice shows as paid.
We set up and tidy bank rules for regular items such as rent, software, fuel and bank charges, so they are handled the same way each time. We still check the results, because a rule can catch a payment it was never meant for. If a feed stops, we tell you, as reconnecting usually needs the account holder.

RECEIPTS AND PAPERWORK
Receipts in. Matched to the payment.
Pandle lets you snap receipts on the Pandle mobile app and upload documents from your computer. Many owners take the photo and stop there. We pick each upload up, check the supplier, date, amount and VAT, and attach it to the bank line it belongs to.
With your permission, we also watch the finance inbox you agree with us for supplier invoices and receipts. Anything still missing goes on a short list, and we follow it up with you or the supplier in the way you choose. If you prefer a separate capture tool, see our Dext bookkeeping service.

SALES INVOICES AND PAYMENTS
Invoices and payments kept in step.
Pandle includes invoices, quotes, credit notes and automated payment reminders. Raising sales invoices is not part of the monthly packages; we can quote for it separately. When customer money arrives, we match it to the right invoice, including part payments and one payment covering several invoices.

VAT AND MAKING TAX DIGITAL
VAT records ready before the quarter ends.
Pandle says its software is MTD compliant for VAT, with VAT reports and submissions. The return it produces is only as good as the records underneath it.
We give each transaction the right VAT treatment as we go: standard, reduced, zero-rated, exempt or no VAT. We flag anything that needs your decision, such as a purchase that is partly personal. When the quarter ends, the bank accounts are up to date and the VAT figures are ready to review. You or your accountant can then check and submit the return from Pandle. Preparing and filing the VAT return itself is outside the monthly packages and is quoted separately if you want us to do it.
Pandle also offers Making Tax Digital for Income Tax. If you are a sole trader or landlord getting ready for it, clean daily records make each update far easier. Read what Making Tax Digital means for the self-employed.
MONTH END AND REPORTS
Clear figures at the end of each month.
At month end we check that every bank balance in Pandle agrees with your statement, review anything still uncategorised and clear or list the unknown items. Read more about what bank reconciliation is and why it matters.
Pandle’s reports include profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance and cash flow forecasting. We use them to send you a short monthly financial summary in plain English, with any open questions. If you use Pandle projects to track jobs, we apply them as we categorise each line.
ACCESS AND OWNERSHIP
You stay in charge of your Pandle.
Your Pandle account stays in your name, and any subscription is paid by you, separate from our fee. Pandle supports multiple users with user permissions, so you add us as a user and choose what we can see and do. You can remove our access at any time. We never ask for your own login.
Your accountant can keep working in the same Pandle account for year-end accounts and tax. We agree who does what at the start, so nothing is done twice and nothing is missed.
WHO THIS SUITS
Sole traders, landlords and small companies.
Pandle is set up for sole traders, landlords and small businesses. If you use it, but the bank lines keep piling up, a Pandle bookkeeper takes the daily routine off your hands.
If you are a sole trader, we keep income and expenses in order so your figures are ready for your Self Assessment. If you run a limited company, we keep sales, costs and the director’s loan current, so your accountant starts year end from clean records.

BEHIND IN PANDLE?
A backlog first, then the daily routine.
If your Pandle has months of uncategorised bank lines, duplicates from a bank import or unexplained balances, we review it first and agree a catch-up plan with a separate quote.
No. We work in your existing Pandle account. Your data, settings and history stay where they are, and your account stays in your name.
How do you get access to my Pandle?
You add us as a user and set our permissions. We never ask for your login details, and you can change or remove our access whenever you like.
Will you file my VAT return from Pandle?
The monthly packages keep your VAT records accurate and ready for the return. Preparing and filing the VAT return is outside the packages and quoted separately, or stays with your accountant.
Can my accountant still use the same Pandle?
Yes. Your accountant keeps working in the same account for year-end accounts and tax. We agree responsibilities with both of you at the start.
How much does a Pandle bookkeeper cost?
Essentials is £295 per month for turnover up to £150,000, Plus is £495 for £150,000–£500,000, and Managed is £795 for £500,000–£5 million. We review your records and workload, then confirm a fixed monthly fee in your quote.
